Kittitas County <br />Treasurer <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />2/4/2025 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Resolution to Approve an lnterlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas County Fire District #7 <br />to have Kittitas County Fire District #7 process their own Accounts Payable and Payroll warrants <br />Independent of the Kittitas County Auditor's Office Warrant Processing System <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County and Fire District #7 entered into an agreement on September 5, 2017 for Fire District #7 to <br />process their own Accounts Payable and Payroll warrants independent of the Auditors Office. Fire District <br />#7 has its own accounting system capable of printing checks. This service frees up Kittitas County staff <br />time, allowing them to focus on other projects. This resolution is updating interested party names to reflect <br />current staff and board members. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />The Auditor and Treasurer’s offices have work with Fire District 7 to update the resolution.
