BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />REsoLUrloN No.zozs- 003- <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CHANGE IN OFFTCE HOURS FOR THE KITTITAS COUNTY AUDITOR,S OFFICE <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners has the authority, pursuant to RCW <br />36.L6.100 and KCC 2.2O.0!O,to modify and approve changes, via resolution, to the <br />hours of operation that County offices shall be open for the transaction of business; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas county Auditor's office has requested that its office hours be changed <br />from 9AM-5pM Monday through Friday, to 8:30AM to 5PM, Monday through <br />Thursday, and 8:3OAM to 3PM on Friday; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas county Auditor's office employees will continue to work 40 hours a week <br />and there will not be an impact to the budget because of this change; and <br />WHEREAS,the change in office hours is based on feedback from residents and staff who have <br />acknowledged a need for earlier office hours; and <br />the Kittitas County Auditor's Office will conduct a trial of this change in hours through <br />March 3d 2OZ5 in order to assess the impacts on service levels and staff. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE tT RESOLVED: The Board of county commissioners of Kittitas county, washington <br />authorizes approval of the request to change the business hours of service for the Kittitas County <br />Auditor's Office, such that the office will be open to the public on Monday through Thursday from <br />8:30AM-5PM and 8:30AM-3PM on Friday. <br />^-+-^ <br />DATED thisTr- aav otpL--Zort,at Ellensburg, washington' <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTI COUNry WASHINGTON <br />oft rd - Julie Kjorsvik trman <br />Deputy Clerk of the Board - Mandy Buchholz <br />Commiss er <br />WHEREAS,
