BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND THE WASHINGTON STATE <br />DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage. <br />WHEREAS, Washington State Department of Natural Resources is paying Kittitas <br />County Sheriffs Office to subcontract the development of a wildfire recovery plan template <br />that can be customized by individual counties and communities, beginning with Kittitas <br />Count as a pilot project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY <br />ORDERED, that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington <br />authorizes the execution of the Interagency Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff's <br />Office and The Washington State Department of Natural Resources that is attached <br />hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference, and which shall be forthwith filed with <br />the Kittitas County Auditor pursuant to RCW 39.34.040. <br />ADOPTED this day of <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />Vice -Chair <br />Commissioner <br />ATTEST: APRROVEwAS TO FORM: <br />-f21u�- --� <br />Douglas R.
