KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 17, 2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interagency Agreement between The Washington State Department of Natural Resources <br />and The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. For purposes of subcontracting the development <br />of a wildfire recovery plan template that can be customized by individual counties and <br />communities, beginning with Kittitas Count as a pilot project. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This Interagency Agreement is entered into by and between the <br />Washington State Department of Natural Resources and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to develop a wildfire recovery plan template that can be <br />customized buy individual counties and communities, beginning with Kittitas County as a <br />pilot project. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This Agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor’s Office <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION Request to Approve Resolution Authorizing Execution of an <br />Interagency Agreement between The Washington State Department of Natural Resources <br />and The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one signed Resolution to the Sheriff's Office. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Chief Deputy Darren Higashiyama
