PROCLAMATION <br />"Cle Elum-Roslyn High School <br />Boys Cross Country Team <br />State Champions Day" <br />December 6,2024 <br />WHEREAS: the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Boys Cross Country Team are the 2024 WIAA 28 <br />State Champions; and <br />WIIEREAS:throughout their 2024 season, the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Boys Cross Country <br />Team were extremely successful throughout their season and were EWAC League <br />Champions and District 5 Champions; and <br />WHEREAS on Saturday November 9,2024, the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Boys Cross Country <br />Team competed in the 2024 WIAA State Cross Country Championships at the Sun <br />Willows Golf Course, in Pasco, Washington, and received a combined score of 90; and <br />WHEREAS the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to recognize the following <br />members of the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Boys Cross Country Team: Waylon <br />Stoneburg-Schafer, Tukker Matteson Johnson, Eamon Brissey, Elon Opp, Jaxon Hayes, <br />Hayden Mede, Rocco Favero, altemates Benson McNally and Owen Elmendorf, along <br />with their Head Coach Graeme Schroeder, and Assistant Coach Heather Stull; and <br />WHEREAS: the team members have all demonstrated a high level of leadership throughout their <br />season and served as ambassadors of Kittitas County, whiie showing great <br />sportsmanship, dedication, commitment, teamwork, and love for running Cross Country; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RBSOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners would like to request <br />that the citizens of Kittitas County join them in celebrating and honoring the 2024 WIAA 28 Boys Cross <br />Country State Champions and proclaim December 6,2024, as "Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Boys <br />Cross Country Team State Champions Day" in Kittitas County. <br />ADOPTED this 3rd day of December 2024 <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BO OF <br />Chairman <br />Vice-ChairmanX <br />Qrr <br />ATT <br />t <br />Clerk of the Board <br />Commissioner
