SCHOOL DISTRICT Selah School District No. 119 316 W Naches Ave, Selah, Washington 98942 Phone: (509) 698-8000 ♦ FAX: (509) 698-8099 SELAH SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 119 YAKIMA AND KITTITAS COUNTIES, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 2024-24 CERTIFICATION OF 2025 EXCESS PROPERTY TAXES A RESOLUTION of the Board of Directors of Selah School District No. 119, Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington, certifying to the Boards of Yakima and Kittitas County Commissioners of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington and the Superintendent of ESD 105, the amount of excess property taxes to be levied in year 2024 and collected in year 2025 for the District's General Fund and Debt Service Fund; and providing for related matters. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SELAH SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 119, YAKIMA AND KITTITAS COUNTIES, WASHINGTON, as follows: Section 1. Findings and Determinations. The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Selah School District No. 119, Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington (the "District") takes note of the following facts and makes the following findings and determinations: (a) By Resolution No. 2024-24, the Board adopted a budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 (the "2024-25 Budget") that included certified General Fund Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy excess property taxes in the amount of $5,352,292 to be levied in 2024 and collected in 2025. (b) The 2024-25 Budget included certified Debt Service Fund excess property taxes to pay debt service on all of the District's outstanding unlimited tax general obligation bonds in the amount of $4,075,000 to be levied in 2024 and collected in 2025. Section 2. Certification of General Fund Excess Prosy Tax Levy. Pursuant tc RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Boards of County Commissioners of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington and the Superintendent of ESD 105, an excess property tax levy in the amount of $5,352,292 to be levied in calendar year 2024 and collected in calendar year 2025 for the District's General Fund. Section 3. Certification of Debt Service Fund Excess Property Tax Levy. Pursuant to RCW 84.52.020, the Board certifies to the Boards of County Commissioners of Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington and the Superintendent of ESD 105, an excess property tax levy in the amount of $4,075,000 to be levied in calendar year 2024 and collected in calendar year 2025 for the District's Debt Service Fund.
