KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />AGENDA SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />November 5, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set Public Hearing on December 3, 2024, at 2:00 <br />pm local time to consider amending Kittitas County Code <br />2.04.010 allowing Kittitas County Community <br />Development Services to hold its Study Sessions <br />independently from Kittitas County Department of Public <br />Works. <br />BACKGROUND: The BOCC notices meeting times with the Department <br />directors in Kittitas County Code 2.04.010. The Board of <br />County Commissioners (BOCC) adjusted the Kittitas <br />County Community Development Services to allow for two <br />study sessions to occur in conjunction with Kittitas County <br />Department of Public Works pursuant to Ordinance 2024- <br />005 in May of 2024. After a 5-month trial period, Kittitas <br />County Community Development Services is requesting to <br />separate its study sessions from Kittitas County Department <br />of Public Works. <br />INTERACTION: Kittitas County Community Development Services <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for December 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm <br />to Consider amending KCC 2.04.010. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing <br />LEAD STAFF: Chad Bala, Director <br />
