BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STA|E OF WASHINGTON <br />RES'LUTI'N No. 2024- \ u A <br />AUTHORIZING THE KITTITAS COUNTY WATER BANK TO PROVIDE LEGAL <br />MITIGATION F'OR THE FUTURE, KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT <br />NO. 1 FACILITY IN ELLENSBURG, WA <br />WHEREAS: The future Kittitas County Public Utility District No.1 facility is not within the <br />service area of amunicipal water system and domestic water will be served by an <br />individual well; and <br />WHEREAS: Eligibility criteria for the Kittitas County Water Bank is established by Kittitas <br />county code chapter 13.40 Mitigation and Metering Program; and <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners desire to approve mitigation for the Kittitas <br />County Public Utility District No.1 facility under the Special Use Program <br />authorization established by Kittitas County Code 13.40.0 I 0(2); and <br />WHEREAS: Water Mitigation will be made available for this use, utilizing the water quantity <br />packages and fees utilized for the Water Mitigation Standard Program. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED The Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Kittitas County <br />Water Bank to provide legal mitigation for the future Kittitas County Public Utility District No. 1 <br />facility in Ellensburg, Washington. <br />DATED this 17th day of September 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COI.TNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS CO SHINGTON <br />Brett Chairman <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />tr Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Commissioner
