FOR THE LOWER KITTITAS <br />REACH F'LOODPLAIN RECOI\NECTION PROJECT AI\D AUTHORIZETHE PUBLIC <br />WORKS WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN THE <br />PROF'ESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Qualifications / Proposals in June, <br />2024, for restoration engineering, design, and permitting services for the Lower Kittitas <br />Reach Floodplain Reconnection Project; and <br />WIIEREAS: Submittals were due on July 8, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS: Three (3) qualified firms submitted their qualifications for review; and <br />WHEREAS: A team of Kittitas County Public Works, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, and Mid-Columbia <br />Fisheries Enhancement Group staff reviewed the submittals and recommends Inter-Fluve, <br />Inc. be selected for the Lower Kittitas Reach Floodplain Reconnection Project; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby select Inter-Fluve, Inc. for the Lower Kittitas <br />Reach Floodplain Reconnection Project and authorize the Public Works Water Resource Manager to <br />negotiate and sign the professional services agreement. <br />DATED this 20th day of August2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS <br />ABSENT <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clgrk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />r <br />w <br />cor <br />x <br />Attest: <br />Commissioner
