WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: September 3, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a public hearing for September 17, 2024 at 2:00 pm for the Board <br />of County Commissioners to consider the Ranch at Swank Creek Development <br />Agreement (DA-24-00001). <br />BACKGROUND: Mike Jones, authorized agent for Ranch at Swauk Creek, landowner, submitted <br />an application for a 30 year development agreement for land that is zoned PUD. <br />The proposed development was initially approved in 2006 under Ordinance <br />2006-59. <br />In conformance with the Development Agreement procedures the applicant has <br />provided a summary of the project with a request to set an actual project deadline <br />date of 30 years all due to the ongoing processes, that are out of the applicants <br />control, in obtaining and meeting conditions placed upon this project along with <br />fluctuations in the financial markets.
