KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />COMMISSIONERS' AUDITORIUM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 109 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br />WEDNESDAY 1 8:00 AM July 3, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice -Chairman Laura Osiadacz, and <br />Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others: Sheriff Clay Myers, Inspector Christopher Whitsett, LE Systems Admin Jeremy <br />Reynolds, LE Clerk Isabella Proctor (note taker) Auditor Bryan Elliott, Facilities Director Patti <br />Stacey. <br />Sheriff's Office Mid -Year Update: Sheriff Clay Myers provided a mid -year update. Reference <br />handout. <br />Video Surveillance System Update: Inspector Whitsett provided an update on video surveillance <br />installation. Looking into adding additional surveillance at the event center, CDS, etc. How will <br />manpower be adjusted to be able to watch surveillance cams vs physical on site security? <br />Reference handout for up-to-date list of current cameras that have been set up. <br />Consideration of 2024 PSA Apple Maggot praying: Financial Director Brian Carlson provided <br />an update on the insect prevention implementation. Commissioner Laura Osiadacz motioned to <br />approve the professional service agreement.
