BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />l1,l)RESOLUTION NO. 2024- <br />A Resolution Authorizing Execution of lnterlocal Agreement with the State of Washington <br />Administrative Office of the Courts <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for public <br />agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual <br />advantage; and <br />WHEREAS, The State of Washington Administrative Office of the Courts contracts with <br />individual counties to provide reimbursement to State Trainers in Juvenile <br />Court Case Management Assessment Process (CMAP); and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County Juvenile Court provides State Trainer services, including <br />training at the Juvenile Court Services CMAP Academy, training and <br />certifying Juvenile Probation Counselors and Quality Assurance Specialists <br />statewide, preparing for training and attending meetings; and mentoring <br />Quality Assurance Specialists; and <br />WHEREAS, An lnterlocal Agreement is necessary for providing for and being <br />reimbursed for these services; and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Washington Administrative Office of the Courts and KITTITAS <br />COUNTY possess authority to enter into this Agreement pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED AND lT lS HEREBY ORDERED, that the <br />attached lnterlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and the State of Washington <br />Administrative Office of the Courts be executed for the provision and funding of State Trainer <br />services.
