KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: Tuesday, July 2, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Resolution revising Technology <br />Policy 15 — Video Monitoring System <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County has established Technology Policy 15 — Video <br />Monitoring Systems to set requirements for video monitoring systems used by Kittitas <br />County. After review by the Sheriff's Office in consultation with the county department <br />of Information Technology, the civil division of the Prosecutor's Office, the department <br />of Human Resources, and the Management Team of the county's government, revisions <br />were made to the policy title, scope, and language. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve the Resolution revising Technology <br />Policy 15 — Video Monitoring System <br />HANDLING: Return to Sheriff's Office to obtain Legal signature; then Sheriff's Office <br />will provide an original to BOCC. <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
