06/10/2024 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON CONFERENCE ROOM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. JUNE 10, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chair Laura <br />Osiadacz; Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Shelise Smithgall, <br />Administrative Assistant; Bryan Elliott, Auditor; Brian Carlson, <br />Budget & Finance Director; Zane Kinney, Assistant IT Director; and <br />approximately 18 members of the public. <br /> REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Amy McGuffin, Executive Director, Kittitas County Chamber of <br />Commerce, explained how she was not opposed to the Upper County <br />Skate Park and said it was a good project, but didn’t feel ARPA <br />funds were the type of project it should be used for. She said the <br />City of Cle Elum has substantial increases in the cost of utilities, <br />and they are in jeopardy of losing some businesses. CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending June 7, 2024. <br /> PRESENTATION STUDY SESSION STAFF REPORT TEMPLATE IT <br />Zane Kinney, Assistant IT Director, reviewed a standardized template <br />for Study Session Staff Reports. <br /> <br />The Chairman was directed to send an email out to all departments
