WCRP provided three (3) scholarship opportunities for member <br />counties to attend a regional seminar called JailCon of which Kittitas County was selected in 2023 to <br />provide feedback. NIJO offers the Detention and Corrections Online Training Academy (DACOTA) <br />which provides corrections professionals with the most interactive and engaging online training available <br />of over twenty thousand courses. The curriculum is based on current case law, with videos and rea-life <br />scenarios. The online training is approved for NIJO Professional Certification towards National Certified <br />Corrections Officer (NCCO), National certified Corrections Supervisor (NCCS), and National Certified <br />Corrections Executive (NCCE) level certification.
