KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DBPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKTi <br />2024 AGENDA $TAFT REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE:May 7,2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Appointing Josh <br />Fredrickson Flood Control Zone Distriet Administrator <br />BACKGROUNI}:In 2015" the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) <br />notified the Courrty Road Administration Board (CRAB) <br />that the Public Works Director would serve as Flood <br />Control Zone District (FCZD) Adrninistrator. The Director <br />has served as Administrator ever since. The pending <br />retirement of the Public Works/Community Development <br />Services Director requires Board action on the pending <br />district administrator vacancy. 'I'he work experience of Mr. <br />Fredrickson makes him a good choice for FCZD <br />Administrator. <br />A letter noticing the CRAB of the BoCC's appointment is <br />prepared and will be sent to CRAB with a copy of the <br />enabling resolution. <br />INTERACTION:Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution appointing Josh F'redrickson Flocd <br />Control Zone llistrict Administrator. <br />HANDLTNG:Return one original to Public Works. <br />Resolution. <br />Mark R" Cook, Director. <br />ATTACIIMENTS: <br />LEAD STAFF:
