BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT B <br />WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM <br />PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT 22-62210-008 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-_____ <br />Whereas, Chapter 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public agencies to <br />enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative action; and <br /> <br />Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public <br />agencies within the meaning of chapter 39.34 RCW; and <br /> <br />Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce entered into an <br />agreement via Resolution 2022-200 for CDBG Public Services Grant 22-62210-008 <br />to fund the costs incurred for the public services through HopeSource to low- and <br />moderate-income persons in Kittitas County for the period of July 1, 2022 thru <br />June 30, 2023, and <br /> <br />Whereas, The Board of County Commissioners authorized Washington State Department of <br />Commerce Amendment Number A on June 20,2023 amending Contract Number <br />22-62210-008 by adding additional funding of $81,000.00 with an amended start <br />date of July 1, 2023 and amended end date of June 30, 2024, and <br /> <br />Whereas, Washington State Department of Commerce has provided Amendment Number B <br />for Contract 22-62210-008 adding additional funding of $80,000.00 and amending <br />the start date to July 1, 2024 and end date to June 30, 2025; <br /> <br />
