BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN <br />INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM <br />GENERAL PURPOSE GRANT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-_____ <br />Whereas, Chapter 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public agencies to <br />enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative action; and <br />Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public <br />agencies within the meaning of chapter 39.34 RCW; and <br />Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce will enter into <br />the agreement to fund the costs incurred for the Microenterprise Accelerator <br />Project with the Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce for the period of January <br />2, 2024 thru January 31,2027; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners <br />authorizes the execution of the Interagency Agreement with Washington State Department of <br />Commerce, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference . <br /> APPROVED, this 7th day of May 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________ <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> ATTEST __________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner <br /> <br /> _____________________________ <br /> Clerk of the Board
