KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 16, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Conduct a Public Hearing on April 16, 2024, at 2:00 pm local time <br />to consider Equipment surplus to Kittitas County's needs and <br />authorize disposal of same in accordance with RC W 36.34.080 <br />BACKGROUND: The following equipment is surplus to the county's needs: <br />E.R. & R. #32 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 <br />VIN #3C6JD7DP8CG212614 <br />E.R. & R. #33 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 <br />VIN #3C6LD5AT2CG229679 <br />E.R. & R. #197 2015 Ford 1T Crew Cab Flatbed <br />VIN #1FDOW4HYOFEA28517 <br />The Department of Public Works plans to surplus the equipment in <br />accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />Replacement equipment was covered by funds in the 2024 Public <br />Works budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider equipment surplus to the <br />county's needs and authorize disposal of same. <br />HANDLING: Department of Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, County Engineer. <br />
