KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2024 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 16, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize the Chair's <br />Signature on the Interlocal Agreement with Kittitas County <br />Parks and Recreation District No. 1 and Accept the Deed <br />for the Evergreen SnoPark <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Parks and Recreation District No. 1 desires <br />conveying the Evergreen SnoPark to Kittitas County. The <br />proposed interlocal agreement commits the county to <br />taking actions certain in consideration of transferring the <br />deed for Evergreen SnoPark to the county. This action is in <br />preparation for the district to dissolve. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Authorize the Chair's signature <br />on the interlocal agreement between the Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners and Kittitas County Parks <br />and Recreation District No. 1. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Interlocal Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
