Staff Report by: <br />Brian Carlson <br />Budget and Finance Director <br />Topic: <br />Request to Hold Public Hearing to <br />Consider Amendments to the Adopted <br />2024 County Budget <br />Meeting <br />BOCC Regular Meeting <br />Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 <br /> <br />Summary: <br />Request to hold public hearing on May 7, 2024 <br /> <br />Background & Analysis: <br />This is the first of an expected three amendments to the adopted 2024 budget, and will include items previously <br />reviewed and informally approved by BOCC. <br />Budget amendments at regular intervals reflect changes to county work-plans and funding sources and uses that <br />were unknown or unforeseen at the time of the budget adoption. <br />This convention allows for flexibility in operations and helps to minimize disruption in resourcing. <br />Finance Director and/or Assistant Finance Director will provide detailed documentation and context during the <br />public hearing in May 7th. <br /> <br />Conclusion / Next Steps: <br />Authorize public hearing for May 7th
