BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-________ <br /> <br /> A Resolution Authorizing Execution of AN Interlocal Agreement <br />BETWEEn KITTITAS COUNTY AND TOWN OF SOUTH CLE ELUM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Washington Interlocal Cooperation Act; allows governmental entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the purpose of this agreement is to allow the Town of South Cle Elum (Town) to make use of the existing Upper District Court facilities and personnel to operate a municipal court as shown by the attached Interlocal Agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the elected Judge of said District Court approves of entering into such agreement with regard to judicial functions and resources; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the parties have agreed that certain resources required to make this agreement functional are under the control of the Board of County Commissioners; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington authorizes the execution of the Interlocal <br />Agreement between Kittitas County and the Town of South Cle Elum. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2024. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> Chairman <br /> <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> Commissioner <br /> <br />ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />_______________________ _________________________________ <br /> Douglas R.
