KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Solid Waste Department <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: 02-06-2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards Signatures on a Professional Service Agreement with <br />Total Reclaim for the recycling of CFC containing appliances. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County went out to bid for a CFC containing appliance <br />recycling service provider and after the window for submitting a bid <br />closed on January 5th at 4:00pm there were no bids submitted. A <br />telephone Bid solicitation was completed on January 19th and 22nd <br />2024 and Total Reclaim is the apparent low bidder. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved the Professional <br />Service Agreement <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Professional Service Agreement with Total Reclaim for <br />receiving and recycling of CFC containing appliances. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Solid Waste <br /> Copy – Prosecutor <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2024 Total Reclaim PSA <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Doug Laurent- Household and Hazardous Waste Coordinator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
