KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Solid Waste Department <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: 02-06-2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards Signatures on a Professional Service Agreement with <br />Continental Barrery Systems for the recycling of used lead acid <br />batteries. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County went out bid for a used lead acid battery service <br />provider and after bids were opened January 5th at 4:00pm <br />Continental Battery Systems were apparent low bidder on Receiving <br />and Recycling of Used Lead Acid Batteries. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved the Professional <br />Service Agreement <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Professional Service Agreement with Continental <br />Batteriy Systems for receiving and recycling of used lead acid <br />batteries. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Solid Waste <br /> Copy – Prosecutor <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2023 Lead Acid Battery PSA <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Doug Laurent- Household and Hazardous Waste Coordinator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
