2023-07-24 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 1:00 P.M. JULY 24, 2023 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright, Vice Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Chris Horner, DPA <br />III. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 1:01 p.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess into <br />an Executive Session under RCW 42.30.110 (i) To discuss with legal <br />counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency <br />enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing <br />the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, <br />the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, <br />or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency, for 5 minutes. Action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 1:06 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br /> <br />Chairman Wright moved to authorize a letter of representation with <br />Carl Warring (Spokane) for purposes of representation of the County <br />regarding A. Stawicki as discussed with Deputy Horner. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded.
