KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: December 6, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to select Natural Waters <br />and Watershed Science and Engineering, Inc. for <br />Professional Service Contracts supporting Public Works for <br />up to a Three -Year Period and Authorize the County <br />Engineer to execute said Contracts <br />BACKGROUND: On September 6, 2022, Public Works received approval to <br />advertise a request for Statement of Qualifications to solicit <br />for professional services (consistent with state law and <br />County policy). Submittals were due October 14, 2022, for <br />Public Works staff review and scoring. After review of <br />responder information Public Works recommends the <br />selection of Natural Waters and Watershed Science and <br />Engineering, Inc. for standard professional contracts. The <br />contracts are in place for a two-year base period with a <br />third potential year if mutually agreed upon. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to select Natural Waters and <br />Watershed Science and Engineering, Inc. for Professional <br />Service Contracts supporting Public Works for up to a <br />Three -Year Period and Authorize the County Engineer to <br />execute said contracts. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, County Engineer <br />
