KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: November 1, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the Marine Law Enforcement Patrol <br />Vessel Replacement Grant awarded to Kittitas County Sheriff's Office by Washington <br />State Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office been awarded a grant in the <br />amount of $92,169.81 to replace one of its patrol vessels. Kittitas County is required to <br />expend match funds in the amount of $30,723.27. The project must be completed on or <br />before October 15, 2024. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved the grant agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge the Marine Law Enforcement Patrol Vessel <br />Replacement Grant awarded to Kittitas County Sheriff's Office by Washington State <br />Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />HANDLING: KCSO will provide a fully executed agreement to the BOCC upon <br />signature by State Parks. <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
