KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: Tuesday, November 1, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider surplus of county <br />equipment. <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office requests to set a public hearing <br />to declare equipment surplus to the county. Based on RCW 36.34.010 authorizes the <br />Board of County Commissioners to decide whether county -owned real or personal <br />property is surplus to the needs of the County and whether disposal would be in the best <br />interest of the County. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider surplus of county <br />equipment. <br />HANDLING: None <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
