BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF'KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />t+qRESOLUTION NO. 2022 - <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS CONSTRUCTION PHASE FOR VANTAGE HIGIIWAY <br />ovER CASCADE CANAL (BRTDGE 89342) REPLACEMENT PROJECT CNP 2021-202 <br />WHEREAS:The Vantage Highway Over Cascade Canal (Bridge 89342) Replacement Project <br />was awarded Federal Funding through the Surface Transportation Block Grant <br />Regional Funds Program (STBG); and <br />WHEREAS: The final plans, specifications and estimate are near completion; and <br />WHEREAS:In preparation to advertise the project for construction in August 2022,Public <br />Works is requesting the Washington State Department of Transportation to <br />release the Federal Funds for construction; and <br />WHEREAS:A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />of the Board of County Commissioners acknowledging the project has been <br />reviewed and is consistent with the agency's comprehensive plan for community <br />development; and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest ofthe public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus Construction Phase for Vantage Highway <br />Over Cascade Canal (Bridge 89342) Replacement Project CRP 2021-202. <br />DATED on this 19th day of July 2022, at Ellensburg, Washinglon. <br />BOARD OF COI.INTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY, WASHINGTON <br />ABSENT <br />Laura <br />of the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />V <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Commissioner
