BOARD OF' COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KTTTITAS <br />STATE OF'WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022 -l0q <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL <br />AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS F'OR THE LIBERTY ROAD SWAUK CREEK BRIDGE <br />REPLACEMENT, CRP 306-21 <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has received funding through the FFY 2022WA Federal Lands <br />Access Program (FLAP) for replacement of the Liberty Road Swauk Creek <br />Bridge; and <br />WHEREAS: The federal funding will be used for the preliminary engineering phase to design, <br />develop and prepare construction plans and specifications for these <br />improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: In preparation to begin work Kittitas County Public Works is requesting the <br />Washington State Department of Transportation release the federal funds for <br />preliminary engineering; and <br />WHEREAS:A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair <br />acknowledging the project has been reviewed and is consistent with the County's <br />comprehensive plan for community development; and <br />NOW' THEREF'ORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Liberty Road Swauk Creek <br />Bridge Replacement, CRP 306-21. <br />DATED on this 3rd day of May 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COLTNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHTNGTON <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />V <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Brett Commissioner
