KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2022 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 19, 2022 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to schedule a Public Hearing for May 3`d, 2022, at <br />2:00 pm local time to consider a Road Vacation request for <br />vacating public right-of-way within the Timber Valley Plat <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works received a road vacation request vacating <br />public rights of way within "Timber Valley" plat. A public <br />hearing is required by County code considering the merits <br />of the vacation request. At the public hearing, the County <br />Engineer will provide the Board an Engineer's Report <br />addressing the vacation request pursuant to County Code <br />and State law. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Schedule a public hearing for May 3`d, 2022, at 2:00 PM <br />local time hearing the vacation request vacating various <br />rights of way within "Timber Valley" plat. <br />HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing. <br />LEAD STAFF: Joshua Fredrickson, County Engineer <br />
