Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />March 15th, 2022 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of a <br />contract amendment between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and the 509 <br />Facility Services. (Effective dates: 12/14/2020 – 10/01/2022) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County Public Health facilitates the isolation and quarantine of families, and individuals <br />who are without means to provide a safe shelter in the event of a positive COVID19 test or <br />exposure to a positive individual for the duration of a quarant ine period. Once the premises <br />that are contracted are vacated by the exposed/positive individual cleaning services provided <br />by 509 cleaning are utilized to sanitize the housing unit to prepare for the next tenant. <br />• Amendment 2 increases the cleaning hourly wage to $30.00, as well as the <br />corresponding overtime rates. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on 02/24/2022 <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on 03/04/2022 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners authorizes a Resolution authorizing the execution of a <br />contract amendment between the Kittitas County Public Health Department and the 509 <br />Facility Services.
