Laura Osiadacz moved <br />to approve the October 21, 2021 Board of Health meeting minutes. Brett Wachsmith second. All approved. <br />Motion 11-01 carried to approve the October 21, 2021 Board of Health meeting minutes. <br /> <br />Public Comment Opened at 2:33pm <br /> <br />Frank Shaw, community member, gave a public comment regarding the concern of a horse manure disposal from a <br />neighbor near his well head. <br /> <br />Public Comment Closed at 2:36pm <br /> <br />BOHAC Update <br />Public Health Director Tristen Lamb stated that Board of Health Advisory Committee did not meet since last Board <br />of Health meeting. A Special Purpose Committee was established to work on recruitment and recommendation of <br />the new BOH member. <br /> <br />Department updates <br />Health Officer Update <br />Dr. Mark Larson updated the board on the following topics: <br />• COVID-19 incidence rate in Kittitas County <br />• Hospital admission in Washington state <br />• Breakthrough cases in Kittitas County <br />• Booster vaccines <br />• COVID-19 vaccination rates <br />• Antiviral medications for COVID-19, waiting approval <br />• Disaster cascade-mental health
