02/01/2022 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON AUDITORIUM/WEBEX REGULAR MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. FEBRUARY 1, 2022 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Cory <br />Wright and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Mandy Buchholz, <br />Administrative Supervisor; Carly Brettmann, Communications Director; <br />Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; Ken Grannan, Airport Director; <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director; and David Welz, Administrative <br />Assistant. <br /> <br />There were 8 members of the public also present. <br /> <br />Per Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 20-28 et seq., the public was <br />encouraged to join the meeting virtually or in person. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING AGRICULTURAL LEASE- TWIN CITY FOODS PUBLIC WORKS <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />an Agricultural Land Lease with Twin City Foods. <br /> MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, reviewed the proposed lease and <br />Staff Report. The new lease does not have a rate increase and has a <br />5 year term length. Twin City Foods has agreed to all lease terms <br />and has signed the proposed lease. THERE BEING NO PUBLIC IN ATTENDANCE, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. LEASE AGRICULTURAL LEASE- TWIN CITY FOODS PUBLIC WORKS VICE-CHAIRMAN WRIGHT moved to approve the Agricultural Land Lease <br />with Twin City Foods. COMMISSIONER WACHSMITH seconded. Motion <br />carried 3-0. PUBLIC HEARING MINIMUM STANDARDS AIRPORT <br />At 2:06 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />the New Minimum Standards, Rules and Regulations Document. <br /> KEN GRANNAN, AIRPORT DIRECTOR, reviewed the history of the Minimum <br />Standards and the Staff Report. The Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) <br />has been involved in the process of this document. <br />
