BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2022-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE KITTITAS COUNTY UPDATED 2021 EMERGENCY <br />OPERATION PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County has obligations to provide public health emergency response to Kittitas <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to multiple Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Washington <br />Administrative Code, and local Kittitas County Code, the public health department <br />shall respond to a range of potential emergencies include communicable disease, <br />environmental health incidents, in addition to certain all hazards that occur within <br />Kittitas County.; and <br />WHEREAS, according to the Comprehensive Preparedness Guide 101: Developing and <br />Maintaining Emergency Operation Plans, emergency operation plans promote a <br />common understanding of the fundamentals of community-based, risk-informed <br />planning; and <br />WHEREAS, the plan uses concepts national incident management system (NIMS); and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Public Health Department’s (KCPHD) Emergency Operation <br />Plan (EOP) aligns with our local and state emergency response partners; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of the plan is to provide guidelines for coordinated preparedness and <br />response to emergency incidents; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County now hereby adopts the 2021 Updated Emergency Operation Plan that is referenced <br />herein. <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2022, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />Clerk of the Board
