KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />February 1, 2022 <br />Request to Approve a Resolution for the 2022 <br />Distressed County Sales and Use Tax <br />Infrastructure Improvement Program <br />Agreement with Kittitas County Chamber of <br />Commerce. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Conference of Governments <br />(COG) met on December 15, 2021 to review the <br />2022 submitted applications. COG <br />recommended awarding $92,000 to the Kittitas <br />County Chamber of Commerce. This <br />Agreement is the final step in the award <br />process. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works; Kittitas County Chamber of <br />Commerce <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve & Sign the Resolution and the 2022 <br />Distressed County Sales and Use Tax <br />Infrastructure Improvement Program <br />Agreement. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; 2022 Distressed County Sales and <br />Use Tax Infrastructure Improvement Program <br />Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
