KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT DEPARTMENT <br />January 4, 2022 AGENDA <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 4, 2022 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING <br />CONCERNING 2022 BOWERS FIELD RATES AND <br />FEES <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Bowers Field Airport requests to set a public hearing to <br />consider adopting standardized rates and fees for the 2022 <br />calendar year. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: The Airport Advisory Committee approved the proposed <br />rates and fees at the November 10th meeting. This rates and <br />fees document standardized all rates at the Airport and <br />brings the Airport one step closer to being financial solvent. <br /> This fee schedule adopts an increase in T-Hangar rental <br />rates, redefines “Access Fees”, and allows for tenants to opt <br />out of land maintenance while allowing the County to <br />generate revenue through the upkeep of the Airport <br />grounds. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: AAC, BoCC, and Prosecutor (Item 53194). <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set public hearing concerning 2022 Rates and Fees for <br />January 18th, at 2pm <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one original to the Airport. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: 2022 Bowers Field Rates and Fees. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Ken Grannan <br />Airport Director
