BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT <br />WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES & HOUSING <br />DIVISION, HOUSING ASSISTANCE UNIT <br /> SHELTER PROGAM <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-_____ <br />Whereas, Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public agencies <br />to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative action; and <br />Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public agencies within <br />the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and <br />Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce will enter into the <br />agreement to fund the Costs incurred for the public services through HopeSource to low- <br />and moderate-income persons in Kittitas County for the period of August 1, 2020 thru June <br />30, 2023; Contract #21-4610C-109. <br />Whereas, Kittitas County through the request of the sub-recipient an amendment in the amount of <br />beds the contract allows for reimbursement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners authorizes the <br />execution of the Interagency Agreement Amendment with Washington State Department of Commerce, <br />attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference . <br /> APPROVED, this 21st day of December 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________ <br /> Brett, Wachsmith, Chairman <br /> <br /> __________________________________ <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> ATTEST __________________________________ <br /> Cory Wright, Commissioner <br /> <br /> _____________________________ <br /> Clerk of the Board
