Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 7, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Palomino Fields, Division <br />8 Plat (LPF-21-00012 & LP-07-00031). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Palomino Fields Preliminary Plat was approved on November 18, 2008 through <br />Resolution No. 2008-160 (LP-07-00031). This proposal is for six (6) lots on parcel <br />#961599. The subject property is currently zoned Agriculture 5 and is located <br />northwest of the City of Ellensburg outside of the UGA in Section 27, Township 18, <br />Range 18, in Kittitas County. Assessor’s Map Number: 18-18-27077-0100. The <br />preliminary plat is vested to the suburban zone which no longer exists in Kittitas <br />County and allows for these smaller lots. <br /> <br /> A final plat application was submitted by Chad Bala, agent for Cle Elum Pines West <br />LLC, on October 19, 2021 requesting final mylar approval for Palomino Fields Div. <br />7. Due to necessary changes, the final mylars were returned and then resubmitted <br />on November 12, 2021. This plat encompasses portions of parcel 961599 creating 6 <br />lots. Staff has reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and finds <br />that it is consistent with the preliminary approval documents. Additionally, final plat <br />review has been processed in conformance with Kittitas County Code Title 16. The <br />mylar has been reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all signatures have been <br />obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public <br />Health, and Assessor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the BOCC Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Palomino <br />Fields, Division 8 Plat (LPF-21-00012 & LP-07-00031). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for Palomino Fields, Division 8 Plat (LPF-21-00012 & LP-07-00031). <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Rachael Stevie, Staff Planner
