KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT DEPARTMENT <br />December 7, 2021 AGENDA <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 7, 2021 CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: REQUEST TO SET PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER <br />A NEW AERONAUTICAL LEASE AT BOWERS <br />FIELD AIRPORT. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Bowers Field Airport requests to set a public hearing to <br />consider entering into an Aeronautical Lease with Tarp-It, <br />Inc. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: Lot H-12 has been occupied by Tarp-It, Inc. since January <br />of 2019. This lease will bring the tenant into compliance <br />with the Bowers Field leasing policy and provide needed <br />revenue to the Airport. This lease is for a period of 30 years <br />with two 10-year additional options available and will be <br />retroactive to January 23, 2019. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: BoCC, Prosecutors Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set public hearing concerning Aeronautical Lease for <br />December 21st, at 2pm. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return one original to the Airport. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution and Lease. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Ken Grannan <br />Airport Director
