KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 7th, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of Internal Contracts for Award of LTAC Funding and 2022 Lodging Tax Services <br />Agreements for Operations with Kittitas County Auditor’s Office, Kittitas County Department of Public Works, and Kittitas Valley Event Center. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: There are expenses accrued through-out the year by the Auditor’s Office and Kittitas Valley Event Center (KVEC) that directly fall under Lodging Tax. Staff time hours to <br />staff the Committee and to review the contracts and reimbursements. KVEC also accrues expenses maintaining the Event Center which is used for many events funded by Lodging Tax Funds. <br />These agreements enable Lodging Tax funds to be spent under the appropriate categories. DPW funding will be used to complete a parking lot in Vantage, this will help the tourism of Vantage. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee met on in open public meetings and approved the Internal Applications.
