BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITIITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2021-_____ <br /> <br />TO AWARD BIDS TO LEASE COUNTY AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT BOWERS FIELD. <br /> <br />WHEREAS: At a Public Meeting on 9/15/2021 a call for bids was authorized for the leasing of county <br /> property at the Kittitas County Airport for agricultural purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on Friday, October 8th, 2021, at 4:00 PM.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: RCW 36.34.190 states that no lease shall be made by the County except <br /> to the highest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Four (4) bids were received and opened on October 8th, 2021, at the Airport <br /> Department office. The bid tabulation is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" <br /> and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration and in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the leasing of property at <br />the Kittitas County Airport for agricultural purposes to the following bidder(s): <br /> <br />Tract 1: Approximately 38.69 Acres <br />Awarded To: Seven Bar LLC, in the amount of $5090.00 Per Year. <br /> <br />Tract 2: Approximately 270.7 Acres <br />Awarded To: Blazing Tree Cattle Co., in the amount of $16,377.00 Per Year. <br /> <br />Tract 3: Approximately 92 Acres <br />Awarded To: Blazing Tree Cattle Co., in the amount of $6,960.00 Per Year. <br /> <br />Tract 4: Approximately 70.70 Acres <br />Awarded To: Victor Strand, in the amount of$1507.00 Per Year. <br /> <br />Tract 5&6: Approximately 342 Acres <br />Awarded To: Victor Strand, in the amount of $10,515.00 Per Year. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2021, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
