KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: September 21, 2021 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and sign Amendment No.2 to Lodging Tax Service Agreement 2021-004- Jazz In The Valley between Kittitas County <br />and Laughing Horse Arts Foundation, d.b.a Jazz in the Valley <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Consolidated Lodging Tax workgroup met on November 20, 2020, in an open public meeting to deliberate and reach their final funding recommendation which was forwarded <br />to each legislative body for final approval. The Group recommended allocating $219,244.99 of Lodging Tax funds for special events and projects. The consolidated group met again on July <br />23rd, 2021 to discuss and consider amendments for applicants who had to make adjustments due to COVID-19. This amendment was approved through the Consolidated group. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Auditor’s Office is aware of the amendment.
