The current Planning Commission Constitution and <br />By-Laws have not been updated since 2006. From January 2020 through June of 2021, <br />staff worked with the Planning Commission to update the Constitution and By-Laws. <br />The update included providing for equal Commissioner district representation as <br />required by RCW 36.70.080 and providing for membership term staggering as required <br />by RCW 36.70.090. On June 8, 2021, the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the attached Constitution and By-Laws. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: CDS, Prosecuting Attorney, Planning Commission, Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution Adopting Updated Kittitas County Planning Commission Constitution and <br />By-Laws for Board of County Commissioners Signature. <br /> <br />STAFF <br />RECOMMENDATION: CDS recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the Resolution. <br /> <br />HANLDING: Presentation to the Board by Kittitas County Community Development Services. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBLE STAFF: Dan Carlson, AICP, Community Development Services Director
