KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />2021 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 3, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to authorize the Chair's <br />Signature on Grant County PUD #2 "Land Use Cooperative <br />Agreement" — Vantage Boat Ramp Operations <br />BACKGROUND: For the past several months, Public Works has been <br />working with Grant County PUD finalizing a new joint <br />operational agreement for operation of the Vantage Boat <br />Ramp. Staff has elected to recommend extending the <br />current agreement for a period of one year. During the next <br />year, staff will work to resolve two key issues: sponsorship <br />of the restrooms with RCO and construction of additional <br />overflow parking. The current agreement terminates on <br />August 22, 2021. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to authorize the Chair's signature <br />on Grant County PUD #2 "Land Use Cooperative <br />Agreement" — Vantage Boat Ramp. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Interlocal Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
