5/11/21 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 3:30 P.M. MAY 11, 2021 <br />Board members present via Webex: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice- <br />Chairman Laura Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others via Webex: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Jerry <br />Pettit, Auditor, and Sue Higginbotham, Chief Administrator. SPECIAL MEETING AUDITOR’S OFFICE COMMISSIONERS <br />At 3:30 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to have a <br />preliminary discussion regarding the county's redistricting process. <br /> <br />Jerry Pettit, Auditor reviewed the process with the Board and <br />provided a rough draft timeline and list of stakeholders. There were <br />key differences discussed in balancing population versus balancing <br />voters. There was also discussion on precinct districts and why <br />Kittitas County has had that process tied into County Code.
