KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 4, 2021 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve a Resolution to award a Local Agency A&E <br />Professional Services Consultant Agreement to KPFF, Inc. for the <br />design and environmental permitting for the North Thorp Highway - <br />Yakima River Bridge CRP 302-20 <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works advertised for statement of <br />qualifications supporting design and environmental permitting for <br />preventative maintenance on North Thorp Highway — Yakima River <br />Bridge (No. 97341), with submittals due November 12, 2020. <br />Public Works staff received three (3) qualified proposals. A review <br />committee evaluated the responses and selected KPFF, Inc. as the <br />preferred firm to provide said services. <br />A Local Agency Architecture and Engineering (A&E) Professional <br />Services Consultant Agreement has been negotiated and provided for <br />approval by the Board. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to award a Local Agency A&E Professional <br />Services Consultant Agreement to KPFF, Inc. for the design and <br />environmental permitting for the North Thorp Highway — Yakima <br />River Bridge CRP 302-20 <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution, Local Agency A&E Professional Services Consultant <br />Agreement <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, County Engineer <br />
