APRIL 16, 2021 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman, Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor; Cody Cupp, <br />HHW Supervisor; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; Chris Horner, <br />Deputy Prosecutor; Savanna Myra, Fiscal Tech II; Mark Larson, <br />Public Health Officer and two members of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING SPECIAL EVENT APPLICATION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to <br />consider a Special Event Application from Eric Bone to host the <br />Manastash Ridge Trail Run & Navigation Race on April 17, & April <br />18, 2021. <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Administrative Supervisor reviewed a Staff <br />Report and outlined Department recommendations and contingent <br />approval’s from County Departments. She stated that the <br />recommendation would be for approval of the Penal Bond Waiver as <br />requested and approval of the event as contingent upon <br />recommendations from the Sheriff, Public Health/Environmental <br />Health, Public Works, and the Treasurer. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright asked clarifying and follow up questions <br />with regard to the contingent approval of the Departments in <br />attendance. <br /> <br />Kati, Event Director stated that they are no longer planning to <br />do the Navigation Race on Sunday. She stated that they have <br />fulfilled the requests made by all departments and is hopeful <br />for a great Event. <br /> <br />The Board expressed their support for the event and how excited <br />they were to finally be hosting one with anticipated great <br />weather. <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve the Special Event <br />Application for the Manastash Ridge Trail Run & Navigation Race <br />on April 17, 2021, noting that the Navigation Race for Sunday <br />the 18th was removed from consideration and with the contingent
