03/11/21 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON WEBEX SPECIAL MEETING <br /> THURSDAY 4:30 P.M. MARCH 11, 2021 <br />Board members present via Webex: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice- <br />Chairman Laura Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others via Webex: Taylor Crouch, Administrative Assistant; Mark <br />Cook, Public Works Director; Kady Porterfield, KVEC Director; Ken <br />Grannan, Airport Director; and Kristi More, The Ferguson Group. SPECIAL MEETING INFRASTRUCTURE PRIORITIES COMMISSIONERS <br />At 4:30 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to have a <br />discussion on Kittitas County’s Infrastructure Priorities. <br /> <br />Kristi More, The Ferguson Group discussed some of the Federal budget <br />steps with the new Administration and changes that would allow some <br />local projects to apply for funding. There are multiple processes in <br />play this year. <br /> <br />There was discussion on the projects in the County and what was on <br />the 2021-2026 Capital Improvement Plan. <br /> <br />Director Porterfield explained the projects in mind for KVEC. Ms. <br />More stated that those could be rolled into one project and may do <br />well since KVEC is the home for some Emergency Management <br />Operations, which is a high priority currently. <br /> <br />Director Cook explained the projects for Public Works. High priority <br />was held for I-90 corridor improvements and a Lower County Shop. <br /> <br />Director Grannan explained projects for the Airport. Ms. More also <br />stated these could be rolled into one ask for the airport. <br /> <br />The BOCC discussed their priority for projects which included a new <br />Courthouse, Transfer Station, and Upper County Shop. <br /> <br />Ms. More stated she could compile all the projects stated for <br />submission. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 5:18 p.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />
