KITTITAS COUNTY <br />CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, WEBEX <br />Regular Meeting <br />MONDAY 1:30 PM February 8, 2021 <br />Board members present via WebEx: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, <br />Commissioner Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br />Others via WebEx: Dan Carlson, Toni Berkshire, and Jessica <br />Miller Community Development Services; Arden Thomas, Darren <br />Case, Joshua Fredrickson and Candie Leader, Public Works; Neil <br />Caulkins, Prosecuting Attorney; and four (4) members of the <br />public. <br />At 1:34 pm Chairman Wachsmith opened the Community Development <br />Services Study Session. <br />JANUARY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING PERMIT ACTIVITY <br />CDS Director Dan Carlson presented a chart showing the increase <br />in the January Building Permit Applications submittals for new <br />residence structures for 2018-2021 that was collected from the <br />SmartGov software. <br />REVIEW DRAFT CODE LANGUAGE FOR KCC 18.01.060 <br />CDS Director Dan Carlson presented the draft code language for <br />KCC 18.01.060, which was drafted by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney <br />Caulkins. Direction from the Board of County Commissioners to <br />work on the language to further define the ability to enter upon <br />private property. <br />SHORELINE MASTER PROGRAM (SMP) OVERVIEW <br />Director Dan Carlson provided an overview of the upcoming joint <br />public hearing between CDS and Department of Ecology regarding <br />the Shoreline Master Program. Long Range Planner Bridget Pechtel <br />will be presenting an overview of the changes at our next study <br />session. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />There is no other business. <br />2021-2-8 MINUTES 1 <br />
